Have you ever gone by an alias?
I used to be the Waterboy but I thought it was too corny. I decided to use my birth name cause all the aliases I thought of were corny.

April 8th 1994.
How has the Miami atmosphere influenced your music?
The Latin women here are one of my biggest influences and inspirations, beautiful women inspire me to make beautiful music
I was always into production. I took it seriously a year ago, My friend Lowercase of Metro Zu talked me into it.
What is your goal in the music industry?
My goal in the music industry is to try and inspire at least one person to be creative and experimental with their music.
Hip-hop producers usually don’t put out instrumental albums, why did you decide to do it? Because I make way too many beats not to release a few, I rather focus on making actual songs and not just instrumental albums though.
What are some of your musical influences?
Kanye West, Nicholas Alexander, Canvas, Metro Zu, Pharrell, Purity Ring, Toro y moi, Just Blaze, DJ premier and ETC.
How would you describe your sound?
I would describe my sound as a cross between Electronica, Chillwave and hip-hop
One blog described your sound as a little chill out hip-hop-I hear a little Bon Iver in there, is that a correct description?
Actually yeah you can say that.
What are some of the biggest challenges you faced in the music industry?
Getting placements and exposure are two of the biggest challenges and also trying not to burn out my creative process.
Aside from the instrumental albums what other things we could expect to see from you pretty soon?
I and my good friend Kid Royale are dropping an E.P this summer. It’s kind of dark and I and my other friend Don will drop an E.P this summer. It’s more summer time music.
Tell us about Paper Water Miami.
Paperwater is a collective we have Mikey Marriott who recently dropped his project Trinity not too long ago, his little brother Canvas, Doc Casino, Daygee the producer and my mentor and more.
Do you have one or two songs you have produced that you really love and why?
I really like Orchid Avenue and Long Way Down, cause I grew up on Orchid Avenue and I just love the chords on Long Way Down.
Are there any songs out there by other producers you wish you could have done?
I wish I could of Produced anything Travi$ Scott has made his incredible.
